because I only found out about this wonderful marine mammal this last year and would like it to be around we my children and grandchildren to enjoy. this is our responsibility to make sure this happens.
I live part-time in Baja, luckily, & have had enormous benefit from interaction from the wildlife, including whalesharks. I've had great interactions w/ dolphins & feel the need to protect the vaquitas.
I love all animals and the vaquitas as well as dugongs and manatees hold a special place in my heart. Humans are not showing much humanity (the humane sense of the word) these days and we have to do better.
i have sailed the sea of cortez many years ago and know the problems also an invasive fish that kills them.
