About this campaign

WARNER’S DRIVE-IN has been a staple of the community since opening in 1952. However, the movie industry’s conversion to digital film forced the establishment to close at the end of the season in 2014. Two years later, it is being opened as a non-profit group called The Warner-Drive-In Cultural and Resource Center, Inc. (WDI). Fundraising effort are currently underway to restore the drive-in to its former glory, including adding a new digital projector, which will help keep the drive-in running for years to come.

Grew up going to the drive in when we were kids. Always loved laying out on a blanket watching the movies- would be a treat to be able to do this again when we visit Franklin!

Our great-aunt, Etta Bowers, worked in the concession stand at the drive-in back in the sixties and we got to see several movies there when we came back to visit. Very good memories!

I have many fond memories from my high school days (Franklin High Class of 1967) and I challenge my classmates to make a donation.
