About this campaign

Any funds raised will be put towards other small projects focused on making positive change, spreading kindness & knowledge, efforts to combat ignorance and fear, and most importantly, in creating a thriving community at Plymouth State and in the surrounding community of Plymouth, NH.

In the summer of 2016, a small group of staff, faculty, and students came together to talk about the horrible things that have been happening in our country. As a nation we are being pulled apart by hate, and fueled by fear. This group of caring individuals decided that we should try to help our community process these events by putting efforts towards spreading kindness and knowledge, and attempt to eliminate ignorance and fear. While this project just barely scratches the surface of what could be done, we decided to attempt a community movement by selling shirts with the slogan "We are Panthers, We choose to Be Kind." Because at the end of the day the easiest thing we can all do is to be kind to each other.

I taught 4 sections of "First Class" during orientation. My advise to each group of incoming first year students was to be kind to one another, so I am happy to join with others who choose kindness. Love must win.
