Hi there!

My name is Jessica and I am a licensed foster parent through a local foster agency called Benchmark Family Services! Benchmark is a therapeutic foster care which means that they take in children that come from some pretty severe conditions and offer them therapy and offer the parents wonderful support which keeps us from having to deal directly with state workers (most of the time)! Benchmark has become like a second family to us! They offer us wonderful support and we would love to give back to them through this fundraiser!

May is Foster Care Awareness Month and we would love to break some of the common myths and misconceptions about foster care through this fundraiser and also give back to our foster agency by giving them 100% of the proceeds from this campaign!

You may be wondering what this money would go toward and that is a good question! Our agency can use this money toward educating the public and setting up booths at local fairs etc, they can use it to purchase education supplies for our training classes (we are required to be trained and are required to keep up training hours every year), duffle bags for children to transport their belingings (most children carry their items in trash bags), stuffed animals, blankets, school supplies, they can also use the money to have fun activities for our foster children through out the year for example we have a trunk or treat for the children on Halloween and a Christmas Party as well!
