More about FPIES

FPIES, is a rare but serious food allergy that affects children world-wide. Children and families affected by FPIES are fighting an uphill battle. With professionals in the medical field often unaware of this syndrome, parents struggle to find the answers and support they so desperately need.

The FPIES Foundation is working to raise awareness about this serious condition but, we can't do this alone, so purchase your shirts today and help ensure that there is one less family affected by FPIES tomorrow! If we reach 50 shirts sold we will earn over $400 to support this cause!

Please contact the campaign organizer with any questions.

Shirts will be delivered approximately 2 weeks after the close date.

Food Protein Induced Entercolitis Syndrome, FPIES, is a rare but serious food allergy that affects children world-wide. In a child with FPIES, when a food he or she is allergic to is ingested, a delayed-onset reaction can be seen in the form of sudden, profuse, projectile vomiting and lethargy. During a reaction the following may be seen: lethargy, low blood pressure, pallor, increased white blood-cell count and shock (which can be life-threatening). Currently, there is no cure.

Unfortunately, children and families affected by FPIES are fighting an uphill battle. With professionals in the medical field often unaware of this syndrome, parents struggle to find the answers and support they so desperately need.

That's where you come in! The FPIES Foundation needs your help to raise awareness about this rare but real food allergy. Your shirt purchase will enable the FPIES Foundation to educate both families and the medical community about this rare condition and provide families with a source of empowerment and advocacy as they fight for the health of their child(ren).
