Safe breastfeeding education needs to be available everywhere and mothers should have access to real data on breastfeeding, pumping and formula feeding. And because no parent should be shamed for the infant feeding choices they make.
I support the overall mission and want to aid the ongoing education provided by fed is best. I am thankful that I had had access to IBCLCs that encouraged early supplementation.
To educate so that mothers who are doing the best they can for their children will quit being shamed for formula feeding.

I support this because my son needed some supplemental formula in the early days but I was shamed at the hospital for using a little formula, despite my son losing a lot of weight and being severely jaundiced
My baby is thriving on formula and because of this foundation I lost all guilt for not breastfeeding. No baby should ever be hungry.
