About this campaign
Governor Mifflin's Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) club needs your help to build athletic fields for orphaned and vulnerable children in Kenya Africa. We want to put our passion for sports and outreach into action and help transform a deserving community on the other side of the world.

It's easy to take for granted the sports facilities and opportunities for athletic accomplishment that we have in the U.S.. Mifflin FCA wants to help the extremely poor and vulnerable children at the Maisha Project in Kenya by building them athletic fields - soccer, basketball, netball and volleyball!
The fields at the Maisha Academy are dangerously unleveled, pocked with holes and have uneven grass cover. There are no lines demarking playing fields and no equipment to facilitate play. Maisha students can't engage in sports activities during recesses or after school and teams can't participate in athletics leagues.
For only $16,816 Maisha students and other athletes in Kenya could
accomplish great things. For example, students would have the opportunity to
train to compete in national and international competitions and receive
college scholarships. Functional fields would also allow
Maisha to serve as a hub for local youths, enhancing their educations, skills and confidence. Fields would provide kids incentives to
stay in school, to keep their grades up, and build positive social skills.
All students deserve such opportunities and Mifflin's FCA
