It's worthwhile
as a family, mental illness is part of our day to day. i am committed to reducing the stigma and shame associated with it.
My son has schizophrenia. I will help how I can to support NAMI in breaking down the stigma surrounding mental illness and in getting our politicians to create and pass laws that make the lives of people afflicted with mental illness easier.
I'm supporting this campaign because I am an individual who wants to end the stigma associated with his psychiatric condition, improve the treatment of those who have similar conditions, and do whatever he can to maintain his mental health.
Mental Illness can, and does affect anyone at any time. Mental illness does not discriminate nor is anyone immune. We need to STOP THE STIGMA!!
