About this campaign
This Year's Tattoo For Community will be benefitting Mental Health America of Fredericksburg.The region’s oldest nonprofit organization working to improve our community’s mental wellness through advocacy, education and supportive services. MHAF programs include:
SUPPORT GROUPS, SENIOR VISITORS, HELPLINE, and TEEN SUICIDE PREVENTION. TFC11 will be raising funds to expand the
Teen Suicide Prevention program that teaches 7th & 9th
graders how to recognize signs of depression in themselves,

Because I lost 2 people to suicide. And mental health awareness in our country is poor at best. People use scare tactics instead of trying to actually solve problems. It's awful.
Obviously, it is the right thing to do. Personally, I receive at least 50-75 donation requests by mail each week – all to worthy causes. However, having a contribution stay local is extremely important to me.
