About this campaign
Nic was severely injured in a boating accident this past January while duck hunting with one of his buddies. He spent 1 month at UAMS in Little Rock, and 3 months at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta, GA for rehab, where he will return for more therapy once he has been cleared from his medical team here back at home. He has made great progress from where he started in January, but still has a long road ahead. Unfortunately, this long road comes at great costs and these shirts support his rehab expenses, as well as medical equipment he needs here at home.
Throughout our journey, the phrase "Keep the Faith" has been said to us many times. The first time we heard this was from the neurosurgeon who was preparing to perform Nic's first surgery and delivered the news that Nic may never move from the neck down and that he could possibly need a ventilator to breathe for the rest of his life. He followed that statement with ...but Keep the Faith.
Fortunately, this was not the case for us and Nic has made such great improvements from that day. Again and again from many other family, friends, and people we didn't even know we have been reminded to Keep the Faith. As his family we choose to keep the faith, and trust that the Lord will continue to carry us on the journey to come. We believe the Lord has a plan for Nic's life, even if we do not understand it right now. Each shirt purchased will support Nic and his journey as he continues to press forward, determined to get better. Thank you for loving us, praying for us, encouraging us, and supporting us during this time!
