On a summer day in New Hampshire, July 13, 1842 - 175 years ago today - three men of Dartmouth, Harrison Hobart, John Philbrick and Stephen Nash, founded KAPPA KAPPA KAPPA as a literary and debate society on the principles of democracy, loyalty to Dartmouth and equality of opportunity. In the 175 years since, Tri-Kap became a social society, moved into the Hall, then Parker House, then the Kappa Lodge at 1 Webster Avenue and now stands still proud in the newly expanded Kappa Lodge, continuing to foster life-long brotherhood among young students.
