On September 6, 2017 Hurricane Irma, the most powerful hurricane ever recorded in the Atlantic Basin, hit the Virgin Islands. St. Croix was mostly spared but St. Thomas and St. John, along with the British Virgin Islands took a devastating hit. If you have ever been lucky enough to go to this magical part of the world you understand why it is so special. There is no where else in the world where such a loving, caring community exists and that is why it is so important to help each other now and start to rebuild.
