Ankylosing Spondylitis is an inflammatory disease that attacks the spine and other joints in the body, causing debilitating pain, fatigue, and stiffness. In severe cases, organs can also be affected and the spine can fuse into a rigid column of bone resulting from bone spurs. The disease is NOT rare (but people think it is!); more people have AS than Cystic Fibrosis, Lou Gherig's Disease (ALS) and Multiple Sclerosis - combined. So we need greater awareness, and this shirt can certainly help with that!
The Spondylitis Association of America (SAA) is the leading nonprofit in the USA dedicated to Ankylosing Spondylitis and related diseases. Learn more about Ankylosing Spondylitis and SAA at www.spondylitis.org.

Chris Hill!!
I have AS and am an advocate for those who share this disease with me. Awareness is the key to gaining funding for A.S.
I am a fellow dinosaur with AS
Love you Charis and my fellow ASers! Hugs to you!!!!!!!
To support my fellow patients and because Charis is awesome!
I'm an AS sufferer and this is funny and a good conversation starter.
I too, suffer from this little known and misunderstood disease. Oh, and Charis is rad!
