About this campaign

For just the second time since we launched in 2009, The Valley Indy is selling T-Shirts to raise money for the site.

The shirts are $20. Larger sizes are a few bucks extra. Shipping is about five bucks.

The Valley Indy gets $10 per shirt, assuming we sell at least 11. Online Journalism Project is our nonprofit parent -- but the money goes directly to Valley Indy.

Our goal is to sell 49 shirts in 28 days.

Sizes range from youth XS to adult 4XL. It's a unisex shirt, and you can pay with a credit card or PayPal.

The campaign will close at midnight ET on Dec. 28, 2017 -- which means your items will ship 12 working days after that.

The Valley Indy is a two-person nonprofit online newspaper covering Ansonia, Derby, Seymour and Shelton in Connecticut's lower Naugatuck Valley.

We launched in 2009. The two writers live in Derby and Shelton.

I visit your website 1 or 2 times everyday for Valley news. Your news content is unbiased and timely. In this internet age, I've completely abandoned print media for news.
