About this campaign
Thanks to the support of cannabis legalization advocates like you, Delaware is positioned to legalize cannabis in 2018, with an active bill waiting for a vote in the House of Representatives and Senate in the spring.
We’re proud of many achievements in the movement for sensible cannabis policy over the past year. Our all-volunteer staff produced and delivered over 60 events in 2017, including 5 citizen’s lobby days, a coordinated statewide outreach program to educate citizens on the benefits of cannabis legalization, and a series of activist training sessions.
We’ve made great progress, but our work is not finished. Several well-funded opponents of cannabis legalization, including AAA, the Delaware State Troopers Association, the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce, and the Medical Society of Delaware have formed a coalition aimed at blocking legalization and maintaining the status quo – Cannabis Prohibition; a dangerous and irresponsible policy that costs taxpayers millions each year while providing no identifiable benefits.
At best, our opponents can only hope to delay legalization. With growing support across the political spectrum, nationwide legalization is inevitable. But Delaware cannot afford to wait to legalize cannabis while other states pass us by. We’ll be working tirelessly to ensure Delaware legalizes cannabis in 2018.
We cannot do this without your support and we need your help to continue our work. Please consider making a contributing to cannabis legalization by buying a Legalize Delaware hoodie today!
Thank you so much for your continued support of our work!

There has been enough research on its ability to relieve pain. I'm on prescription pain meds that do nothing. Cannabis is not addictive the way these prescribed pain pills are. I use to smoke every day had minimal back pain I was able to function.
