Dogs4Diabetics Match Challenge - Help Us Raise $50,000!

“Homeless to Hero Canines”… Dogs4Diabetics (D4D) and Tony La Russa's Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) have teamed up to create one powerful partnership! D4D will train ARF rescue dogs to become life-saving Medical-Alert Assistance Dogs. We are giving rescue dogs a new “leash” on life… truly homeless-to-hero stories now made possible.

Did you know according to the ASPCA approximately 1.5 million shelter animals are euthanized every year? This number is unbelievably heartbreaking and exactly why D4D and ARF have joined forces. This partnership is collaboration in its strongest form; two non-profit organizations working together on a mission to save lives in both respected communities, canine and human.

The ARF rescue dogs that join D4D’s life-saving program will receive the same evaluation and training as our dogs generously donated to us from our other community partner, Guide Dogs for the Blind. These rescue pups will become an integral part of our mission to better serve and meet the needs of our clients. These rescue pups will help transform and empower the lives of those who turn to Dogs4Diabetics for support. They will in turn have a home, purpose, and a loving companion.
