My Son died from his addiction on 1.8.2018...I wasn’t given a choice
Because we really don’t have a choice
I have been a member of TAM for about 7 years. I lost my 28 yr old daughter to an overdose on December 2nd, 2017.
My son is an active user, off and on, for over 3 years. As any family member or friend who knows someone in active addiction, their struggle is real. But so is ours. We have to stand together to fight this horrible disease.
I tired...of being tired...im tired of wondering what went wrong and when...Im tired of attitudes we did something wrong... Im tired of my adult child feeling out of control...im tired of prisons without viable treatments..,Im tired of being tired.
We've lost too many young people.
