About this campaign

Peace of Mind Dog Rescue is honoring the memory of Austin Meyer by celebrating his motto, “Throw Kindness Around Like Confetti.” Austin was born in Pacific Grove, CA. On October 1, 2017, he was celebrating his 24th birthday in Las Vegas and attended a concert on Route 91. Tragedy struck when Austin and 57 other innocent souls were killed in a mass shooting. Austin was loved by all who knew him and enjoyed making people feel good about themselves. He loved the phrase, “Throw Kindness Around Like Confetti.” It soon became his motto. Austin left behind his loving parents, two older sisters, adoring girlfriend and his dog Bentley. Bentley has been a great support to the entire family, which is why his likeness adorns this t-shirt.

POMDR was founded in 2009. We are a resource and advocate for senior dogs and senior people. Since 2009, we have rescued over 1,500 dogs and helped over 700 pet guardians keep their pets with them through financial assistance, help with dog walks, and emergency foster care. Our website is www.peaceofminddogrescue.org. Thank you to artist, Catherine Sullivan, for creating the design for the confetti T-shirt.
