Urgent Animals of Hearne Robertson County Texas fundraiser for vet bills

60 months ago, a program was started out of an animal control facility, located at 402 W. 3rd street in downtown Hearne Texas, near the police station , which was pretty much 100% kill, unless an owner reclaimed a lost pet before the 3 day hold was up. This program is headed by Deborah Fatheree, which now also includes countless fosters and other volunteers, that help with the animals, fundraising, donating.... Over 2000 furkids have been saved in those 50 months . No animal will be killed for lack of space. Sadly we lost a few very sick ones, but not without fighting for them and trying everything, before their fragile bodies gave out. We are backed by an awesome vet, in Hearne, - Robertson County Veterinary services - and they work tirelessly to get those all well, that come in sick or provide routine vet care. Our vet bills are in the thousands every months, because all the furkids in the program receive whatever is needed, from extensive surgeries (amputations....etc) to spay/neuter and all other kinds of treatment. Flea and Heartworm prevention is also administered to all of those in care of the program . About half the strays picked up in Robertson county, also test Heartworm positive and receive treatment for that.
