About this campaign
Donate to our #Papayaislife Fund!
The Toucan Rescue Ranch spends thousands of dollars each month to maintain operating costs. TRR cares for over 200 animals and over 50 species.
900 POUNDS OF PAPAYA (AND OTHER FOOD)
TRR goes through roughly 900lbs of papaya in 1-week. This doesn’t include the various fruits and vegetables that we also provide in our diversified animal diets.
MEDICAL SUPPLIES & CLINIC
The clinic is an essential component of our rehabilitation center. When restocking the various supplies that we use such as syringes, medicine, sterilization tools, new equipment, and so forth it can be extremely pricey. This fund also helps pay for surgeries, veterinary expenses, and specialist appointments.
GROWTH MEANS MORE...
The Ranch continues to grow and with growth means more expenses. Since TRR’s humble beginning we've expanded our Release Site operations, intake of wildlife, education program, and volunteer/internship program - while enhancing and improving TRR's mission and vision it is also necessary to meet monetary needs.
If you want to be involved with helping TRR directly - please donate towards our operating costs! Your donation will also help with veterinary services, medical equipment, diets, expansion, and enrichment.

Visited TRR last fall in 2017. It was a dream come true to meet all the animals and watch the baby sloths eat their breakfast! Thank you for all you do for the animals of Costa Rica!
A great cause and a great place to visit!
I was a volunteer for TRR back in 2016, and had the most amazing experience! #papayaislife
I was a visitor there in 2013 on an art tour with Mindy Lighthrop. I continue to paint from the many photos I took while there. You do good work. Jill
TRR is a required stop on our way back to the airport, every time we travel to Costa Rica! Very impressed with the expansion and improvements each visit.
