A zero-tolerance policy led to the separation of immigrant families. Children,were detained in camps along the southern United States border before placing them in homes throughout the country while their parents await deportation. This policy has since been removed, but children still remain separated from their parents. Undocumented immigrants need our support, as they come to the United States seeking better lives for their families like so many of our own families have done for generations.Moreover, they need help with gaining legal status.
