About this campaign

Red birds in a tree (Scrophularia macrantha) was introduced through Plant Select® in 2008 from seeds collected by Panayoti Kelaidis (of Denver Botanic Gardens) at an elevation of 7,200 ft. near Cookes Peak in NM. Scrophularia macrantha grows 24-36" tall, requires very little water, pollinators love it and deer resist it! Bring whimsy, beauty, and water conservation to your garden by planting Red birds in a tree! Spread the word about Plant Select and this charming perennial by wearing a Red birds T-shirt today!
