I am not an alumna of Bennett but was blessed with the honor of working with their Chaplin, Natalie V. McLean. I know she is just as or even more of a blessing to the students of Bennett. I Stand with Natalie, I Stand with Bennett!
I am supporting this campaign in memory of my mother Barbara Parks Davis who was a proud Bennett Alum.
Because as a proud Alumnus of an HBCU (FAMU) ,I don't want to see any of us fail. Despite the joking we are all one family. We cant expect anyone to do for us and most support and protect ourselves.

Bennett College is an Oasis where I was able to truly blossom into a woman. I owe Bennett College more than words express.
Black women are the most unprotected and undervalued amongst us. It is imperative that institutions that enforce positive self image and provide a safe learning space are perserved.
I stand with Bennett because it represents the essence of Black women’s historical & contemporary contributions to higher education. Bennett continues to exist so that the dreams of educational pioneers like Charlotte Hawkins Brown live on.
