About this campaign
Every shirt sold will result in a donation of an award-winning Oskar & Klaus illustrated adventure book. Our goal is to introduce young readers to a fully capable, enthusiastic, and adventurous protagonist who just happens to be blind (a blind cat, no less). The idea is to shatter society’s prejudices and low expectations by teaching young readers that blindness in NOT the defining characteristic of a person or an animal. We are donating books through the Oskar & Klaus Foundation to underserved schools, youth literacy organizations, and children’s hospitals. We are also traveling across the nation to meet educators at a variety of education and literacy conferences.
PLEASE NOTE: Shirts are printed and mailed after the campaign ends.
Oskar the Blind Cat and his sidekick, Klaus, have been entertaining millions of people around the world with their charming antics since 2011. Their positive message is simple: blindness should not prevent a cat, or a person, from living life to the fullest! The mission of the Oskar & Klaus Foundation is to inspire people to think differently about special-needs animals, as well as to inspire blind and visually impaired children to NOT be defined by their blindness, but rather to live the life they dream of.

Love all animals!
Worth it. The books are great.
I've supported them in the past, when it was Oskar and Klaus. Everybody needs to read a good story.
They are amazing! I have been supporting Oskar and Klaus for many years. I love everything they do for special needs cats and blind readers.
I love Klaus and follow him, his beloved brother Oskar, and new sister Juno. I love what their humans stand for. Helping everyone (cats and humans) understand that a disability doesn’t mean can’t, it means can - with love and support.
