Our sweet baby boy Knox was born at 37 weeks at Riverside in Columbus, Ohio where he was taken from us shortly after birth to get transfer to Nationwide Childrens due to complex health problems. Knox's was born with a very rare chromosome abnormality leaving him with a Congenital Heart Disease (DORV, TGA, VSDs, an ASD, and Hypoplastic Pulmonary Annulus). Along side his heart disease our baby also has fluid on his brain and limited vision and hearing. We have been at Nationwide for just shy of 8 months. Knox has went through various procedures to move towards getting him home but we always seem to hit some bumps in the road. As we carry out our time here we would like to share our love to surrounding families here at Nationwide in celebration of Knox being such a warrior.
