About this campaign

There are so many things you can decide to be, but one of the most important and admirable choices is to be kind. With these tees and hoodies (all choices available in youth and adult sizes), you can help spread a message of kindness while also supporting a good cause.

CoMO SEPTA is a special education PTA based in Columbia, MO. The intention of this non-profit group is to bring together those who support and celebrate the students who access special education services in the area. We hope to foster closer relations between home and the schools, provide workshops for parent education, help make events more inclusive for all, and recognize & support those educators who work hard for our students. The funds raised from the sale of these shirts will go toward helping us achieve these goals.

One of our new focuses this year is starting an inclusive peer-to-peer friendship program (a Kindness Club.) In a peer buddy program, typically developing students are paired with students with a disability to enhance positive social interactions and increase the sense of community among all students at the school. The benefits to all students involved - both those with and without disabilities - are many, and we are hopeful we can increase inclusion in this way.
