Haven Acres Fall Fundraiser!

Haven Acres began several years ago on a small property in Burnsville, MN when God called a couple to reach out to youth who were struggling with mental, emotional, social, and physical challenges. Since the first summer when we saw a few kids and teens each week, we have grown to meeting with over 50 youth each week to encourage them, check in with them, and teach them horsemanship skills, all in a one-on-one-on-one setting with each child being paired with a mentor and a horse that they spend time with and care for each week. This context allows them to find a place of belonging, grow in confidence, and build a relationship with an adult who loves them unconditionally. Now in Hampton, MN, Haven Acres has 17 horses of various ages, breeds, abilities, and challenges. Nearly all of our horses have been donated due to health challenges or rescued from neglect, starvation, or near death, showing the children that dealing with challenges doesn't preclude you from being valuable or lovable. Ultimately these horses point everyone who comes out to the ranch to our God who became a man, Jesus, and died for us while we were still sinners! No one is too broken for His healing.
