Baby its COLD outside!!!
The winter season is upon us, and with it an even greater need to rescue struggling cats in need. What better way to keep warm this winter than to keep your noggin' toasty with our LWNYC Pom-Pom hat!
We need your help to raise $4,000 to help LWNYC with our ongoing and ever-growing veterinarian bills. When we began LWNYC we decided that as an organization we would not say "no" to any animal in need. We do not say "no" to the hard rescues. We do not say "no" to expensive life saving measures for our rescues. And, we do not say "no" to helping to feed and give medical care to stray and feral colonies. Our mission is to save lives, plain and simple.
This cozy hat will make a great holiday gift AND will help us to save more lives; a true win-win.
Little Wanderers is a nonprofit organization 501(c) (3) rescuing/TNR'-ing the neediest cats in the toughest areas of NYC. We are at capacity with 180 cats in our care looking for homes. We respond to an average of 75 urgent rescue requests per day, and we care for 200 feral cats daily. Many of the cats rescued by Little Wanderers are sick and injured and require urgent and emergency vetting which is costly, considering the high volume of rescues we take into our care. Weekly, Little Wanderers rescues 8-10 sick and injured cats from the most underserved areas in NYC.
