Shenandoah Shepherd Rescue is an all-volunteer rescue focused primarily on the rescue of German Shepherds. We are based out of the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia, but expand our reach and work to save German Shepherds in heavily populated areas throughout the country.

This group does an excellent job supporting its foster families and adopters! This is a major key to successful adoptions of rescue dogs.
This group does amazing work! I hope they continue to save as many as possible! So sad how many of these beautiful creatures are neglected, abused, & abandoned at the hands of humans. Shenandoah Shepherd Rescue is a God Send for these neglect souls!
