More about...

Teens desperately need your help! There's an addiction epidemic raging across US, and our teens are in crisis.

SLAM (Sobriety, Learning And Motivation) has 1 goal: to see that NYC has it's first sober high school. There are over 25 such schools across the US (4 in Boston area ALONE!) that have seen great success, yet not one in NY city or state.

Your purchase of a t-shirt today will help us make this happen and help to raise awareness about the movement by stating "At least I have GUTS - I'm helping SLAM create NYC's first sober high school".

If we reach 100 shirts sold we will earn over $2,000! All funds raised will go directly towards SLAM.

Shirts will be delivered approximately 2 weeks after the close date.

Questions? You can email or visit the site to learn more!

SLAM is a dynamic board of NYers from all different walks of life. Kristen Johnston, actress ('The Exes') and author of the best selling book "GUTS" founded SLAM 5 years ago.

So far we've met with resistance from City Hall, but with a new regime we finally feel that this school will happen.

We need to raise 30k in order to accomplish the lengthy & costly process of applying to become a Charter school.

SLAM's goal has always been to have the school be public, available to any teen in recovery who wants to attend a school with top of the line education...and becoming a Charter school will help make this happen
