About this campaign

Tucker's Teddies is committed to providing comfort and support to grieving families, hospitalized children, and the hospital staff that care for them.

On September 26, 2017, Tucker Mullen was born. He was a perfectly beautiful little boy. One month later he would be diagnosed with left ventricular non-compaction, a rare form of cardiomyopathy. Tucker was sent to Children's National in DC. He received amazing care. It was the hope that with medication and close observation he would do well. Unfortunately, in December of 2017 Tucker's heart condition grew more severe. He would be admitted to the CICU at Children's, there he would spend the next 3 1/2 weeks. Tucker passed on January 7, 2018.

I have seen the hurt, the pain, and the suffering from friends and family who have lost a child. It does not matter the age of the child. It is excruciating. Any organization that can provide some comfort to those who are suffering—I want to support!
