About this campaign

“We are still New York Tough. And New York Tough means tough. But, tough in a New York sense also means compassionate. It means that we are unified. It means that we are loving because if you’re really tough … the really tough guys, they’re tough enough to show love.”

We are using the inspiring, heartfelt words of Governor Andrew Cuomo to help give our healthcare workers and first responders the supplies and support they desperately need. To us, “New York tough” describes all of us right now. It doesn’t matter where we live, we have all shown compassion in coming together to fight for the communities and country we love.

As New Yorkers ourselves, we want to do our part to help you get through this challenging time, wherever you may live. So all of the profits from the sale of this t-shirt will be donated to Direct Relief. Direct Relief is a non-profit organization that is focusing on the three key areas of Coronavirus activity: (1) Providing assistance in the form of personal protective equipment, or PPE, for health workers, (2) Building an ICU medication model and mobilizing private resources to build a stockpile to assist with anticipated spikes in ICU patients, and (3) Boosting support to safety-net facilities to address existing chronic gaps that are likely to grow.
