About this campaign
The Shenandoah Area Agency on Aging in a mainstay non-profit in the northern Shenandoah Valley, serving hundreds of community-dwelling older adults, including ones whose only social contact is attending their local senior centers. Because of the coronavirus pandemic, the senior centers are closed now, but dedicated SAAA staff are still delivering meals-on-wheels to all those vulnerable older adults on a daily basis. Our adult development psychology class at Shenandoah University is fundraising for the SAAA by selling unofficial t-shirts commemorating another harmed-by-COVID-19 mainstay of the Valley: Apple Blossom. We can still bloom from our rooms, right?
The first 10 people to donate will also receive a hardcopy cookbook with recipes straight from the seniors of the Winchester Senior Center.
