About this campaign

We have suspended operations Slabtown Tours until it is both sage & legal to open up for business. As the stay at home orders continue it is looking more likely our already short season will not start on time. There have always been requests for t-shirts for people to remember their time with us. We believe there is no time like the present! For every shirt you purchase from our fundraiser we will provide you a FREE tour when we reopen. That's right you get a t-shirt and ghost tour for only $20! It would help us tremendously and I personally think the shirt looks pretty awesome. From my family to yours we hope you all stay safe and we look forward to entertaining you in NW Portland!

In 2012, Mike Ryerson & Tanya Lyn March PhD joined forces to run a two person walking tour company Mike's History Tours. Losing Mike in 2015 was scary. Tanya Lyn March relaunched the tour company as Slabtown Tours LLC. She received her doctoral degree in Urban Studies from Portland State University in 2010, focusing on historic preservation and community development. She has a master's degree in Historic Preservation from Columbia University and is raising two young boys one who attends De Vinci Middle School the other graduated from Jefferson High School during Covid-19. In addition to being a frequent contributer to the NW Examiner and an active blogger she misses driving the Zamboni at the Lloyd Center Ice Rink.
