About this campaign
For too long, symbols associated with a character I co-created have been co-opted by forces of oppression and to intimidate black Americans. This character and symbol was never intended as a symbol of oppression. This is a symbol of a systematic failure of equal justice. It’s time to claim this symbol for the cause of equal justice and Black Lives Matter. —Gerry Conway

Everyone deserves faith love and happiness. And when we take that away from groups or individuals because of race, something needs to be done
Making a diff is important
I’m so tired of the blatant disregard for life, the disrespect of people, everything about white privilege, and the hypocrisy of loudmouth lawmakers who preach of the food they say they do. Empty heads=empty words..
It' s the right thing to do.
Because Black Lives Matter. They matter to me and it's time they matter to the world.
On numerous occasions. I had Law enforcement pull me over or stop me on the street. And a good chunk of the time I always ended on ground handcuffed and a knee in my back. The Police would say they did that "for my safety". I never been arrested
Because until Black Lives matter, then all lives mattering is baloney, trying to be an ally.
The nearest and dearest people in my life are, almost to a person, people of color. The world I have to live in today does not recognize them for who they are or could be, and change must be made.
