About this campaign
We, the volunteers at LWNYC, have been flooded with requests to rescue heavily pregnant cats and/or vulnerable litters from backyards, alleyways, and basements. There is nothing cuter than those tiny-blue-eyed, fits-in-the-palm-of-your-hand, fluffy-frisky-and-playful babies. We respond to and rescue as many of these animals as we can.
The kittens we rescue require very specialized care that may include: an emergency veterinary visit, heat/incubation, hydration, deworming, kitten formula, sterilized nipples and bottles, and trained volunteers to bottle feed around the clock. Each and every cat we rescue is tested for feline leukemia and FIV, given distemper and rabies vaccinations, and, of course, is spayed and/or neutered.
Please support our LWNYC logo tote bag fundraiser, and help us continue give every kitten we rescue a healthy and happy start in life.

I love the work Little Wanderers do! I fostered a mama + litter last year and ended up adopting 4 of the kittens (mama and 2 kits were adopted out). The people of LW really care about the animals and will go the extra mile to save a life. <3
Little Wanderers are awesome and are endlessly answering calls for help.
