About this campaign
For too long, symbols associated with a character I co-created have been co-opted by forces of oppression to intimidate black Americans. This character and symbol was never intended as a symbol of oppression. This is a symbol of a systematic failure of equal justice. It’s time to claim this symbol for the cause of equal justice and Black Lives Matter. —Gerry Conway

2 yrs ago I was falsely accused of "acting weird" by a Karen in GSO, NC were the sitins happened. Cops tried to force me to take a field sobriety test though I was standing at a trash can unwrapping cigarettes unaware what Karen was saying about me.
Frank Castle has always been my favorite Marvel character. I’ve been a Marine for a few years now and seeing his logo be reclaimed for those who stand for justice truly inspires me to be better as a white man and to both educate myself and others.
Frank would never use this symbol to intimidate or oppress a person based on their race/sex/creed. The symbol will always stand for justice and making sure innocent people are protected, even if it's from people who are supposed to uphold the law.
I am a Punisher fan, and agree in taking back the skull for a good cause like Black Lives Matter.
