About this campaign

DIPG is the deadliest form of childhood cancer, and we created these shirts to help educate people about this devastating disease and honor our childhood cancer heroes. Be sure to order yours in advance of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in September! We are honored to include hundreds of kids who are fighting or have fought DIPG, and we draw inspiration every day from their strength and bravery. [Note that the back image displayed here is a placeholder that will be updated once we have the final list of names.]

The deadline for submitting names for the 2020 shirt was Monday, August 3. The list of names that were submitted that will be printed on the shirt is here: https://defeatdipg.org/names-registered-for-2020-shirt/.

Additional shirt styles are available in two other campaigns that are part of this collection at:
https://customink.com/fundraising/jointhefight2-defeatdipg-2020
https://customink.com/fundraising/jointhefight3-defeatdipg-2020

Thank you for supporting the fight to Defeat DIPG! Shirts will be shipped from CustomInk approximately 2 weeks after the campaign closes on August 11. Please note that to ensure the health and safety of all of our supporters in light of coronavirus conditions, we only have the option for you to ship the shirts directly to your home this year (and no office pickup option).

About Michael Mosier Defeat DIPG Foundation: Michael Mosier Defeat DIPG Foundation is committed to finding a cure for brainstem tumors known as diffuse intrinsic pontine gliomas (DIPG). Nearly every day one child in the United States is diagnosed with DIPG and another child dies from it. The Foundation seeks to make a difference and Defeat DIPG both by raising awareness of DIPG and by providing funding for research into effective treatments for DIPG. Mark and Jenny Mosier created Defeat DIPG Foundation in honor of their 6-year-old son, Michael William Mosier, who bravely battled against DIPG for 8.5 months before passing away on May 17, 2015. When the Mosier family learned of Michael’s diagnosis, it was the first time they heard of “DIPG.” Suddenly, they — like thousands of other families — were forced to face the unimaginable news that their previously healthy, vibrant, energetic little boy would likely have less than a year to live. They are determined to change that outcome for other families.

My cousin’s granddaughter lost her battle with DIPG just last week. She fought with such strength and dignity. Daphne will forever shine in our hearts.

My family recently lost our DIPG Warrior •Princess Daphne• She fought her hardest & never gave up. She never lost her inner self or sparkle. I want to continue to fight DIPG in her honor and for every child who has come face to face with this monster
