because it is TIME to have FPA !!!!
FPA! The people of MI need better access to mental health care. 33 counties have no psychiatrist and 10 counties have only one. More than half of psychiatrists are >55yrs. MI needs PMHNPs practicing to the fullest extent to which we are capable.
NP Legislative Full Scope of Practice
As the growing population of older people increases and need access to medicare, nurse practitioners with full practice authority can help with this demand. 2033 Michigan residents will less physicians PCP and NPs with FPA can help with the demand.
NPs make a valuable contribution every day improving access to care. Ive been an NP almost 25 years & want to see Full Practice Authority during my career
