My farther served on this ship in AWE As a gunners mate 1st class Same name as me.
This battleship is a part of history
To honor those who served aboard BB-59, to also include my father-Kenneth G. Rosek, all those who served our nation to preserve & protect our freedoms, & to help support all the dedicated people @ Battleship Cove that work so hard to preserve it all.
BB-59 was the second Battleship my husband and I ever visited and was one of the catalyst to our Battleship Challenge...we want to visit as many floating museums as possible
The Massachusetts was my Father’ ship through out WWII. He loved that ship his whole life.
