About this campaign

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month -- in Tucson, it's TucSAAM! In an effort to inform the public and support survivors of sexual violence, local victim service agencies, advocacy groups, law enforcement agencies and legal rights organizations have come together to promote Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) across Southern Arizona. Educational events, media outreach and digital campaigns are scheduled throughout the month.

Join us on April 28 for Denim Day by wearing teal and denim. You can even buy your own "I Support Survivors" / #TucSAAM t-shirt, and proceeds will benefit the Southern Arizona Center Against Sexual Assault (SACASA).

SACASA provides crisis services, advocacy, support, therapy and education for individuals and families impacted by sexual trauma. They provide a safe place for survivors to heal, gain strength, learn coping skills, and develop trusting, caring relationships.

Visit www.sacasa.org/tucsaam for links to resources, agencies, and organizations that support survivors.
