About this campaign
Speak! St. Louis is a 501(c)3 foster-based rescue passionate about helping all Australian Shepherds and Border Collies, including those with special needs and specifically those born with vision and hearing impairments as a result of merle to merle breeding. Speak! is committed to raising awareness of the preventable impairments caused by this unnecessary breeding practice. Speak! also strives to help these special needs dogs live happy, healthy, and normal lives. “We see possibilities, not disabilities!”

We have an Australian Shepherd and love the work and information Speak shares about DM.
A friend has recently adopted a blind and deaf puppy that was set to be euthanized. It’s heartbreaking that people aren’t willing to give all pups a chance. It’s definitely difficult to have a blind and deaf puppy so I totally support all you do!
We adopted a blind and deaf double Merle named Mowgli and we are so thankful for all they do and the advice from Speak STL!
