About this campaign

The Suffolk University Law School Women's Law Association and Asian Pacific American Law Students Association are teaming up to support the Asian Task Force Against Domestic Violence.
https://www.atask.org/site/about-us/what-we-do.html

Since 1994, ATASK has operated New England’s only multilingual emergency shelter, as well as advocacy services, education programs, and outreach for Asian domestic violence survivors. With over forty distinct Asian languages and cultures represented in the Greater Boston and Lowell areas, linguistically and culturally accessible resources are vital to our ability to provide outreach, education, prevention, and direct services to the many families in need in Asian communities. The Asian Shelter and Advocacy Program (ASAP) is the first program of its kind in Massachusetts and only one of few across the United States. Asian immigrant communities face many challenges in adjusting to life in a new country. These difficulties are compounded when an immigrant or refugee is a survivor of domestic violence in an unfamiliar environment. The Asian Shelter and Advocacy Program is often the only opportunity for Asian adults and children to achieve productive and violence-free lives.
