About this campaign
On April 23rd Buddy the lab was found with an electrical cord around his neck and his face was completely burned. The Tate County Sherrif’s Department was called. They could see that Buddy was in serious need of medical attention for what they thought was an embedded collar so they called The Tunica Humane Society. Sandy jumped into action to get someone to go get him. Upon arriving at the scene Natalie from ARRF determined it was much worse than thought so she rushed him to a Vet. After spending time with Their Vet and getting treatment to stabilize him it was determined that he was going to need more extensive help. He was transported to Mississippi State Veterinary College. He has been undergoing fish skin graph treatment and is facing other surgeries to help him. He is doing great under their care but has a long way to go. We are raising money to go toward his ongoing treatment. Buddy has become a symbol in the fight against animal cruelty. We hope everyone that buys this shirt will tell Buddy’s story and fight for changes where animal cruelty is concerned! #BuddyStrong

Buddy’s story is tragic. This should have never happened and it was heat breaking to read about. I’m thrilled to see the progress he is making and happy to help his out.
I love all animals and I am absolutely heartbroken over what happened to Buddy. I am supporting this campaign so that Buddy can get the medical care he needs and praying he makes a full recovery and can go on to have a great life.
I am supporting this campaign not only to get Buddy the help he desperately needs but for all those involved in his care and their tireless efforts. #BuddyStrong
I have been following Buddy's story and am hoping and praying that the law can be changed in the state of Mississippi.
