About this campaign

August 1st to September 9th 15 Firefighters will cycle from LA to NY
40 days, over 3,300 miles, 14 states

Fire Velo and NW Fire Velo present 2021 Ride for America. Active and retired firefighters will ride across the country in remembrance of those who lost their lives and were impacted on that fateful morning almost 20 years ago.

Our riders will stop to pay their respects at the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum, Flight 93 National Memorial in Somerset County Pennsylvania, The Pentagon, and the 9/11 Memorial and Museum.

Their efforts will include raising funds for four nonprofit foundations benefiting firefighter cancer awareness, firefighter mental health, and severely wounded veterans. Please visit www.firevelo.com for more information or follow us on Facebook and Instagram.

Purchase a tee shirt to benefit: San Francisco Firefighter Cancer Prevention Foundation, Friends of Firefighters, The Fire Family Foundation and The Gary Sinise Foundation – RISE Program.

I’m supporting the campaign to help those who serve their communities and go unrecognized. I thank you and appreciate all your hard work. Also, Tío Steve (Winter) is my inspiration. I hope to be like him some day. He’s awesome!!!
