About this campaign
September 2021 is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and is symbolized by a gold ribbon, worn to commemorate the event. This is an annual international awareness month to raise support, funding and awareness of childhood cancers and the impact for sufferers and families of sufferers of childhood cancer.
In an effort to raise awareness, Sunnyvale DPS personnel will be buying and wearing these childhood cancer awareness shirts during the month of September. We also invite the Sunnyvale community to purchase and wear these shirts to support those suffering from the impacts of this terrible disease. The Sunnyvale DPS family has been affected by childhood cancer in multiple ways. All the money raised from the shirt sales will be donated to Cops Care Cancer Foundation.
