About this campaign

Evie Welch was born with a lateralization defect known as Heterotaxy Syndrome. Kids who are born with this disease have an abornal makeup or arrangement of organs, the worst being critical heart defects. Evie is seen by cardiology at Boston Children's where they have a specialized group or doctors who study Heterotaxy and operate on these complex kids more than anyone else in the world. As a matter of fact, she was considered inoperable at Children's of Alabama, so we are extremely grateful to this amazing team.
She is scheduled to have her third open heart surgery in Boston on November 19th. The surgery stays are long, and recovery is hard. We would appreciate any help that you're able to give.

Thank you!
