About this campaign
The purpose of the GMercyU Chapter of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) is to provide a community for all those who support women at our University, and to support and advance gender equity for women and girls through research, education, and advocacy.
A portion of the profits raised from this fundraiser will be donated to Laurel House. Laurel House is a comprehensive domestic violence agency serving individuals, families, and communities throughout Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. In addition to emergency shelter, Laurel House offers: a 24-hour hotline, a textline, transitional housing, a children’s program, individual and group counseling, medical advocacy, legal representation and advocacy, crisis response, law enforcement collaboration, as well as community education and prevention efforts.
