About this campaign
Please be sure to add your STUDENT NAME & SCHOOL NAME to the "why are you supporting this campaign" section
Type 1 diabetes (T1D) is serious autoimmune disease that strikes both children and adults. It’s unrelated to diet and lifestyle—and people with T1D must constantly monitor their blood-sugar levels, inject or infuse insulin and carefully regulate doses with eating and activity.
There are no days off from T1D—and there is no cure.
That’s why we’re raising money to help support the most promising, cutting-edge science to create a world without T1D.
All proceeds from this fundraiser will go to JDRF of Southfield Michigan. JDRF is leading the fight against type 1 diabetes (T1D) by funding research, advocating for policies that accelerate access to new therapies, and providing a support network for millions of people around the world impacted by T1D.
On November 12th, 2021, we are hoping to turn the entire district BLUE to support our students battling Type 1 Diabetes!
