About this campaign

As we seek to rebound from the COVID-19 Pandemic, we as a station wanted to get creative and find a new way for you to support WIXQ. This is the first of hopefully many more Flash917 Fundraisers, where we will sell a limited-edition piece of WIXQ merchandise for only 9 days and 17 hours. Once the clock strikes midnight, the design is vaulted and never to be made available again!

91.7 WIXQ-FM is Millersville University's college Radio Station. Serving Millersville and Lancaster, PA since October 1968, WIXQ has provided a home and a community for thousands of Millersville students to be themselves and give them the platform to build the skills for tomorrow - all while acting as an alternative to the mainstream commercial radio in Central PA.

I was a DJ at WIXQ for all but one of my eight semesters at MU from 2005 to 2009, and I know work professionally in radio as a meteorologist. I'm happy to support them, and hope to stop by and visit at some point in the future!
